Summer 16 Roadtrip

Hey, I'm back :) The nice long summer is a perfect time for a family road trip which is exactly what we did. My family flew in from Dubai and India for the first time. They arrived a few days before Eid letting us all celebrate together for the first time! Right after that we all packed 3 vans and hit the road. We tried to cover as many tourist attractions as possible in about a week. I believe the furthest point in our trip was the Grand Canyon or the Hoover Dam. We got to spend together in Universal Studios Hollywood, San Francisco, Los Angeles and many more. If you're interested in seeing our crazy family road trip check out the link below. School Clubs

Hey Everyone! I remember starting off this blog being super intimidated by high school and it's many possibilities, but the more time I spend getting involved in my school, the more I enjoy it. This means I'll get to go to the state level conference and I'm BEYOND thrilled. I've made so many friends from just this one conference and I loved spending time with all my friends at the conference. I think I'm going to try to prepare for the next conference, and hopefully, make it to the international conference. Anyways, my point is school might seem boring and plain from the ou

Summer 15

Hi Everyone! This summer I had the wonderful opportunity to come out to Dubai and India to meet my grandma and my adorable little cousins. It was my first time traveling alone and the trip was incredibly daunting since it was international and I had convinced myself I would somehow miss my connecting flight or say the wrong this to the immigration officer. I made use of my time at my grandma or Nani's house by going to traditional Mehendi classes once a day. In my opinion, it's better than sitting at home and watching Netflix -- oh wait, Netflix doesn't work in India. It was also the month of Ramadan which made it three times harder to anything since I was drained from fasting the whole month. Quickly after celebrating Eid, I flew to Dubai. I LOVE Dubai. It's such a beautiful and vibrant city. The whole city has this classy vibe and whenever you walk around you feel like a queen, and I love it. In Dubai, I got to visit the Atlantis resort, have to breakfast by the mari
