Hey Everyone! I remember starting off this blog being super intimidated by high school and it's many possibilities, but the more time I spend getting involved in my school, the more I enjoy it. As a freshman, I joined DECA, a club-oriented in helping students learn about the business industry, and allowing members to compete in specific areas. I attended my first district-level conference a few weeks ago and I didn't expect to win anything. Luckily, I placed top 8 in my roleplay which was completely unexpected because I was so sure I had said all the wrong things during my event. This means I'll get to go to the state level conference and I'm BEYOND thrilled. I've made so many friends from just this one conference and I loved spending time with all my friends at the conference.
